MOVING AWAY FROM TRADITIONS

Liquid Football started with the idea that a club can be built successfully by players, coaches, and those who have been on the field. A project that has been in our minds for many years, we decided to make it a reality in April of 2022. We decided to focus on building the club "from the pitch up" with a year of preparation to make it happen. The questions we asked ourselves:
What do we have to offer to the local soccer landscape?
What does a team need to perform their best without any distractions?
How can we make sure that we are realistic about our goals and our future?
What skills and knowledge do we need to acquire in order to take care of the entire organization?
How can we make this the best possible experience for everyone involved?
Our small team has experience in NPSL, NISA, USL Championship, MWPL, UPSL, NCAA D1, ECNL, and more. We know the landscape, we know how different teams and organizations operate, and we have been successful at all levels. Let's take everything we have learned and create something from scratch.
Simply put, we see an opportunity to provide a great experience for interested players, without them having to worry about being part of another organization that puts the business side first.
In order to do that, the organization needs to be logistically, financially, and organizationally prepared to operate for year one and beyond.
We need to understand every piece that is involved, how we divide the responsibilities, and how we take steps to make sure we don't stray from our path.
We need to prepare ourselves to be uncomfortable in areas that we have not been a part of before, but eager and willing to learn them as best we can.
We will be honest and straightforward. Our communication will be open, and we will do our best to do this right.
